Tenneti Park was developed by the Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation as one of the earliest seaside parks in the city. Named after Tenneti Viswanadham, a prominent freedom fighter and political leader from Andhra Pradesh, the park was envisioned as a public space that would honor his legacy while providing recreation for the people of Vizag.
